Trainer-Led Walks & Social Exposure

Are the walks suitable for reactive dogs?
Yes. Walks take place in a private, secure field, which allows dogs to move, explore, and decompress without the unpredictability of public spaces. This controlled environment makes the walks particularly suitable for reactive, anxious, or easily overwhelmed dogs, as exposure can be carefully managed and adjusted to the individual dog’s needs.
How many dogs are on each walk?
Walks are offered either on a solo basis or with one carefully selected companion dog. Dogs are only paired when they are compatible and have been properly introduced. There is no expectation for dogs to walk together unless it is appropriate and beneficial for both.
Are dogs walked on or off lead?
This is decided in partnership with you and based on what is safest and most suitable for your dog. A range of long lines is available to allow dogs freedom of movement while maintaining control. Dogs are never taken off lead unless it is appropriate for their training level, behaviour, and safety.
What happens if dogs don’t get along?
Dogs are only paired if they are comfortable with one another. If, at any point, a pairing is no longer beneficial or a dog’s needs change, the walk structure is reviewed and adjusted. This may mean returning to solo walks or modifying how the walk is managed. Dogs are never forced to interact.
How do you keep walks safe and controlled?
Safety is prioritised at all times. Walks take place in a private training field, use appropriate equipment such as long lines, and are carefully supervised throughout. Dog numbers, individual needs, body language, and environmental factors are continuously assessed to ensure walks remain calm, structured, and supportive.
